Product Description
The Dell XPS 17 9720 is a premium large-screen performance laptop designed for professionals, creators, business users, developers, students, and power users who need a combination of high-end processing power, generous memory, fast storage, and dedicated graphics. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 12th Gen processor, paired with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a fast 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD for responsive everyday performance and demanding workloads.
With its 12th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, the XPS 17 9720 provides strong performance for multitasking, productivity applications, programming, business software, content creation, research, and other demanding computing tasks. The 32GB DDR5 memory gives you plenty of capacity to run multiple applications and browser tabs simultaneously while working with large files and professional software.
For graphics-intensive workloads, the laptop features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB dedicated graphics memory. This dedicated GPU is suitable for demanding creative applications, video editing, 3D design, engineering software, GPU-accelerated applications, and gaming. It provides significantly more graphics capability than integrated graphics for users who need additional GPU performance.
The large 17.0-inch FHD+ InfinityEdge display provides an expansive workspace with slim bezels, making it particularly useful for productivity and creative work. The large screen allows documents, spreadsheets, timelines, editing interfaces, dashboards, and multiple application windows to be viewed comfortably.
Storage is handled by a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD, providing a generous amount of space for applications, documents, projects, photos, videos, and other files. PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage also contributes to fast system boot times, quick application launches, and responsive file access.
Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi 6E, giving the laptop access to compatible next-generation wireless networks with improved connectivity and performance. The combination of Wi-Fi 6E and Windows 11 Pro makes the XPS 17 9720 suitable for modern professional and remote-work environments.
Finished in Platinum Silver, the Dell XPS 17 9720 delivers the premium appearance associated with the XPS family while providing the performance expected from a high-end 17-inch laptop.
